Instructor of Linguistics
University of Saskatchewan
Hello! I am a Canadian linguist and instructor of languages who earned my PhD in linguistics from McGill University in Montreal in February, 2016. I am currently teaching at the University of Saskatchewan.
My research is centered around the production and comprehension of prosodic prominence - pitch, loudness, and rhythm - in natural languages. I am interested in how context affects the production of prominence and the relation between prosody and other anaphoric phenomena (such as pronouns). I am equally interested in how adult learners deal with new prosodic patterns in their second language.
Here is my CV.
